We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon in Allentown, and this restaurant was a lovely part of our day. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the delicious buffet, which offered a satisfying variety and plenty of flavorful dishes including some Indo-Chinese options. Every item was fresh and flavorful, and we left feeling completely satisfied after our meal. It was the perfect spot to relax, refuel, and take a break while exploring the area. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for welcoming service and a tasty Indian buffet experience in Allentown!

We visited the restaurant as a family for the buffet and were quite disappointed with the experience. I asked the staff member if they had tea (chai), and he simply said no. I was surprised, as even if tea isnβt part of the buffet, itβs an Indian restaurant and you would expect that if a customer requests it, it could be made and charged separately. What was more disappointing was that he didnβt offer any alternatives or ask if we would like to order drinks on the side. Overall, the service felt unwelcoming and not very attentive, which really affected our visit.

First visit to Spice Route. The food was outstanding. The flavors of each of the buffet items just popped in my mouth. Service was great. The gentleman who took care of us was kind to explain how to make and eat panipuri. (Little crispy hollow ball that you fill with potatoes, veggies, sauces and then add delicious tamarind and mint water!) My favorite of everything! There were so many selections to try. Each one labeled. I made it a point to try every single item (except the goat, but that's only because I don't eat goat) Buffet had all the classic Indian dishes like Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, daal, naan, biryani etc... but there were 8 to 10 selections that I've never tried before. The meal was well worth $24.75pp! In fact, it was so good my friend and I will be back tomorrow with our families so they can try Spice Route too! Grand buffet only served on Saturdays and Sundays and starts at noon . Regular buffet during the week. Can't wait to go back tomorrow!!

Went here for the lunch buffet today. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They had an extensive selection of appetizers (eg, samosas, kachori, pani puri), entrees (aloo gobi, baingan bertha, dal, naan), and desserts (jalebi, gajar ka halwa, and kheer). Iβm vegetarian, but my husband who isnβt, said all the meats were yummy and cooked perfectly. Their buffet is every day except Saturdays. We plan to go again soon.
